How do you get rid of German cockroaches in an Anaheim home?
FamilyGuard performs a full German cockroach clean-out. You'll need to leave the home for four hours while we treat. We combine growth regulators, which stop roaches from reproducing, with baits, monitor boards and a liquid residual treatment. Most homes in Anaheim and the rest of Orange County are cleared in one to three services, depending on how heavy the activity is. Every follow-up service within our 30-day guarantee is at no additional cost.

What is the difference between localized termite treatment and fumigation?
Fumigation (tenting) covers the whole structure under a tent and treats drywood termites everywhere in the home, including spots you can't see. Localized treatment targets only the specific areas where termites are found. We recommend fumigation first because it treats the entire home, and localized treatment is the next option when it fits. We can usually schedule fumigation within about a week and get out for localized treatment within a day or two. For subterranean termites we also offer slab treatment, and every termite job starts with a free inspection and a termite report.

How does rodent exclusion work in Orange County?
We find and seal the gaps rats and mice use to get in, working on the outside of the home. We seal with galvanized steel wire, mortar and caulking, never foam, because rodents chew through it. After sealing, we set traps and come back weekly for three weeks to check them, remove any rodents and reset the traps. Rodent inspections are free.

How often should a home in Southern California get pest control?
It depends on your property. There's no one-size-fits-all plan. We recommend a plan based on the size of your property, the pests you're dealing with and how much bug activity you're comfortable with. Every plan includes free re-services between scheduled visits, if needed, and services are guaranteed.
